Sandbox and Kite Flying

It's early summer here in the wine country. And we love it. The temperature has been sitting around 75 degrees- just right.
Yesterday we went out to lunch spontaneously with Oma after a morning full of working hard. Afterward we treated ourselves to a gelato and kite flying ala Clay. While doing so a Press Democrat (that's our local paper) photographer came up and asked if he could try and take a photo with Clay and the kite in the same picture. Apparently it's never worked out for him, but this time it did-

I got home after work this morning and was greeted by my little one running up to me in pajamas and his favorite shoes. He and Clay were out in our garden watering. Cash rounded out his morning by playing in his new sandbox. Clay even got him an imprompteou chair-
We had music playing during sandbox time so Cash mixed it up with some dancing.

And lastly- a demonstration of Cash's new skilz- not only can he put on his own shoes and wash himself in the bath, but here he is turning on the faucet.
