Santa Claus is coming...

to the Sonoma county airport. So you can guess what we did this morning...
We walked around the air museum and pet the animals, and drove the fire truck and did all sorts of things

while we waited for Santa to fly in on the REACH helicopter. After that we popped into line (thanks for holding a spot Hon) and Cash told Santa he wanted a guitar for Christmas.

Despite being soaked up to our ankles, Cash had a good time and was so excited about the airplane that Santa gave him.
Last night we all had dinner together: the Mitchell clan, the Scirica clan and the Haffners. It was good food and the kidlets did well with such a long and formal experience (except for the part where Cash dumped a full glass of cold water into Clays lap).
Afterward we went to Oma and Opa's and opened presents since they will be leaving Monday and going to Washington for Christmas with the Lindsays. Cash is in love with his new tricycle (which he calls bike-isil). He just needs a couple of more inches in order to peddle it, but in the meantime Opa is teaching him how to turn the handlebars while driving inside the house. And Cash likes to cheat and use his left hand to ring the bell.
We went to a Christmas party at David and Cirkl's house earlier in the week. They gave gifts but in the style of pick or steal and we made out with a ukulele (or as Cash says, "ukalady") and a glockenspiel (I think that's what they're called). Of course- we're more into getting stuff for Cash nowadays :) Although, I think Clay has dibs on the ukulele. Which is fine since Cash is getting a guitar for Christmas
It's crazy to think that Christmas will be here and gone before we know it and we'll be starting a whole new year: 2010. How crazy that sounds!
