On Saturday Clay had a wedding (along with putting in another garden) and I went to the temple with the girls for baptisms. The rest of the day was spent holed up in Oma and Opa's air conditioned house. It didn't start cooling off until around 8pm. Have I mentioned how I am so not a hot weather individual? Clay came home with massive leftovers from his wedding so we'll be eating pasta and grapes for the rest of the week. But hey, that means I don't have to cook, right?
After church on Sunday we went to a wedding for a friend of the Mitchell family- Lisa Dhaliwal. Luckily the weather was a tad cooler than the day before and it started cooling off earlier. I took some pictures and video (since I can't help myself).
The best part for Cash was that there were tons of little friends to play with. This little girl essentially adopted him. She gave him piggy back rides, carried him like a baby, made him lie down and rest, made sure he wore his sun hat, introduced him to all her family.... One day she's going to make a great mommy.
Why is it at weddings that we always think of doing family pictures? Maybe it's because we actually have the camera on hand :)
And last, and probably least, no child's life is complete without a potty picture.
