Favorite...er...stuffed?....animal?

Cash has a favorite....item? There's usually three things he's looking for when you open the fridge- yogurt, ketchup, and (his personal favorite in more ways than expected) Mrs. Buttersworth. No, I don't feed my child syrup on a regular basis. Rarely, actually. There must just be something about the bottle though. He likes to hold her and carry her around the house. You'd think a teddy bear would be more snuggly, but I guess he's content with a cold, inflexible bottle of stickiness.

We went to our 18 month well baby check up yesterday. I think Cash may be Dr. Miraglia's favorite 18 month old. Apparantly the others don't give hugs, blow kisses, or laugh quite as easily as Cash does. He's no longer in the 95th percentile for height, though he still seems rather tall. Since turning a year his growth has kind of slowed down and now he's only in the 80th. He comes in at 32.25 inches tall and 23 pounds 7 ounces. He's doing very well and even though his right hand is still behind the left in dexterity, they're the same in strength and muscle developement so all is well.

After having our few days of summer in the middle of spring, we're back to spring weather which is still awesome weather. Our little garden is loving it. You'll have to look back to the pictures of when we first planted to see the amount of growth. As you can see from the pots we have two squash and a zucchini we're looking to get rid of still. They're growing by leaps and bounds. Cash likes to go outside and watch us water, but he prefers to dig around with the shovel. We still haven't finished our yard, but we're hoping to do so this weekend since Clay's mostly done with all the gardens in the ward.

Happy gardening to all the rest of you!
