Meeting the farm animals

On Saturday we went to the farmers market in Santa Rosa. Cash got to see and pet baby cows, pigs, goats, a rabbit and a turkey. I think he likes the idea of petting them, but when actually faced with the prospect isn't too sure about the safety of the situation. Maybe it was the cow licking him full in the face. While there I bought some cauliflower and planted it in our garden when we got home.
Our garden is looking lovely. The only thing is that cats have been coming in and stirring things up. We've been trying to think of ways to deter them, but in the end went with borrowing Opa's cat trap. We caught one and Opa took it for a ride this morning. Sweet justice! Victory! Now only ten zillion more cats to go. . .
